Reading. Pa., June 28. - County Detective Straub
and Detective Sparely, who have been running
down clues since the carriage works of F. R.
Himmelberger and seven adjoining houses at
West Reading were destroyed by fire, arrested
four men today on the charge of arson. The
accused are Charles Heist, Welling Weidner, William
Ebling, alias "Dusky Leesport," and Albert Leisey.
They were taken to jail in default of bail. Heist lived
next door to the wagon works and his furniture
was destroyed in the fire. Weidner and Ebling live
in a shanty along the Belt Line railroad, near the
scene of the fire, and Leisey lives in West Reading.
